I wish you would call me. I wish that my phone would ring and your name would appear on its screen. I just want that feeling of my heart skipping a beat when anything about you comes to mind. I wish you’d call, asking “How was your day?”. Maybe you can even serenade me on the phone? Or we can talk till we fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of  our breathing in the morning. Can I just get a simple hello? Oh, how I wish.

I’m just laying here with so many things on my mind. Why haven’t you called yet? Are you busy? Am I not important to talk to? I think you’re sleeping. Hopefully you are.

I’m tired of waiting. I want to go to sleep but I just can’t without hearing your voice. I became to use to hearing your soothing voice that sounds like a lullaby. Without it, I can’t sleep.
